JSDA is the industrial association of 23 manufacturers of soaps, detergents and oils and fats.
The market for these products is worth approximately $6.5 billion, and the share of JSDA member accounts for roughly 90 percent of the market.
As part of JSDA's communication activities, the "Earth Spick-and-Span Award" and "Hand Wash Sticker Design Award" have been organized as activity from the JSDA membership to encourage the younger generation develop hand washing as habit from childhood and to promote cleanliness in daily life.
